I am a creative thinker who loves to be challenged by interesting problems. I prefer to focus on technology. I’m not a fan of labels, but if I must describe my work in some way, it’s industrial consulting with the goal of improving manufacturing processes. My involvement will yield better products and you can measure it in any way you like (quality, durability, effective use of starting materials, improved ergonomics, etc.)
If you’re working on a product and you’ve hit a wall, if it seems like the obstacle you’ve encountered is insurmountable, why don’t you get in touch with me?
I won’t pretend to be an expert in your field of work. But I know that I have an uncanny ability to figure things out, to look at things a bit differently. So far, I’ve put that ability to the test in my work in IT, healthcare administration, writing, photography, filmmaking, building work (masonry, carpentry, electrical, etc.) and various other fields, and I’ve had great results. Now I’d like to try my mind out on other problems in other fields.
So, what do you think? You’ve got very little to lose and a lot to gain by giving me a try. We can try collaborating online or in person. I’ll need you to explain your problem to me in terms that I can understand and then we’ll talk about what’s working and not working and the end result. During our conversation, I may come up with a solution for you. Or I may get in touch with you weeks later with the solution. At any rate, I’d love to hear about your problem and to see if I can help. I love figuring things out, I have a gift for doing so and I love to put it to work.
As I stated here, I prefer working on commercial/industrial projects, especially work that leads to patents or at least leads to better products. If I help with a project (as in deliver a solution to the problem I’m called in to solve), I will expect to be listed as a co-author on the patent. And of course I’ll expect to get paid.
